Flint Hills
Rodeo Commemorative Belt Buckles
In 1987, the Flint
Hills Rodeo Association celebrated its 50th anniversary by
establishing a 10-year series of commemorative belt buckles.
Flint Hills area
artists created the designs for the buckles, which celebrate
and honor traditional rodeo events, scenes, and founders of
the Flint Hills Rodeo.
Each year during
the series, a limited number of buckles were produced, each
individually numbered. Below are images
and descriptions of each of the ten buckles.
Limited quantities
of some buckles are still available.
